Recently, administrators from across the district were taken through an exercise where we were asked to define "rigor". An AVID trainer took us through the exercise jig-sawing a reading of this ARTICLE by ASCD. The writer interviewed "leaders in settings from Apple to Unilever to the U.S. Army and reviewed the research on workplace skills." His conclusion, "the world of work has changed profoundly."
